Deposits

Diamond forms at very great depths (80 kms and more) under action of a very high pressure and a very high temperature (1100° to 1300°C). The eruption of motherstone (kimberlite) throw it out to the surface by the volcanic chimneys conduit. Diamond deposits can be found in several parts of the world.
