Dissolving in other metals
This method is often combined with washing. Durded stuff is processed by mercury (combination), from combination, mercury is separated by distillation. Separation can be made with lead ores to get gold-bearing lead that will be processed to obtain hard gold.
Dissolving and precipitation
Chlorine acts, then gold (dissolved by sulfur of calcium or by filtering
on charcoal dust) is precipitated. Cyanure of potassium can act
and one’s precipitate by zinc, Aluminum or electrolysis.
